Sheikh Ahmad Kuftaro's Foundation advocates for the cooperation between the scholar and the state following the tradition of the Prophet Mohammad. Each year, 12,000 students from over 55 countries around the world study with Abu Nour's highly qualified staff of renowned scholars.

A monument of Salahuddin Ayubi, or Saladin, as he is known as in the West.Salahuddin is burried not far from this monument. Salah al-Din was a kurdish warrior who fought against the crusaders. One of his great achievement was to win back Jerusalem. Saladin is renowned in both the Muslim and Christian worlds for leadership and military prowess tempered by his chivalry and merciful nature, during his war against the Crusaders. Salah ad-Din is an honorific title which translates to The Righteousness of the Faith from Arabic
